# Inativar um cargo

Tire da lista um cargo que não existe mais.

## Inativar um cargo

**Para que serve:** tirar da lista um cargo que a empresa não usa mais.

### Antes de começar

* Confira se o cargo é mesmo o certo. Use a [busca](https://github.com/victor-gnrx/gnrx-manual/tree/main/epi/configuracoes-iniciais/cargos/listar-cargos.md).

### O que acontece ao inativar

Só o cargo fica inativo. Os colaboradores e os vínculos continuam como estão.

#### Clique na lixeira

Clique em **Estruturas › Cargos**. Na coluna **Ações**, clique no ícone de lixeira. Abre **Inativar Cargo**: "Tem certeza que deseja inativar este cargo?".

Clique em **Inativar**. Aparece "Cargo excluído com sucesso!" e o cargo passa a aparecer como **Inativo**.
